During the 2025 Spring Festival, Xuchang's cultural and tourism market got off to a strong start. The city welcomed a total of 8.544 million tourists during the holiday and generated a total revenue of over 5.9 billion yuan.

Pangdonglai, a popular shopping mall in Xuchang, achieved a daily revenue exceeding 100 million yuan, comparable to the total revenue of well-known tourist attractions in Henan during the 8-day Spring Festival holiday. From February 2nd to 4th, Pangdonglai attracted 1.775 million visitors. Tourists from around the world also came to explore and share their experiences, with approximately 30,000 overseas visitors daily. The top 10 countries of origin for these international visitors were the United States, Singapore, Thailand, Nigeria, Malaysia, Ghana, the United Kingdom, France, South Korea, and the United Arab Emirates.
